Welcome to our web site which is dedicated to our two cottages. It should provide
all the information required for you to confidently book your holiday.
The cottages are within a stones throw of each other and have been converted from
an old Tailors shop and a redundant farm building into modern accommodation with
many original features.
The cottages lie in the centre of the historic village of Abbeycwmhir (abbey in the
long valley) believed to be the final resting place of Prince Llewelyn the last native
Prince of Wales. A stone tablet laid within the ruins of the Abbey marks the spot.
We can be found in the centre of Wales providing a perfect location to explore and
travel this wonderful country. Perfect spot to walk from with national walking trail
on the doorstep. We are a long way off the beaten track so your own transport is essential.
There are many things to see and do with Red Kites overhead and an abundance of
wildlife. We live amongst the farming community which provides us with the glorious
landscape and of course the many sheep.
We have lived locally all our lives and have been letting cottages since 2003 building
a good knowledge of what guests require for their holiday. We also run the village
Post Office and village Pub where we live with our two children and we are always
on hand to help our visitors with any problems. We also own and run a 170 acre sheep
